Sleep Dentistry
Many patients postpone treatment for months or even years due to fear or past experiences. With sleep dentistry, you can receive the care you need in a setting that feels manageable and reassuring.
Whether you need a routine procedure or more advanced treatment, we will help you select the sedation method that’s right for you.

Types of Sedation Dentistry
Nitrous oxide, often called laughing gas, is a mild form of sedation delivered through a small mask placed over your nose. It helps you feel deeply relaxed during treatment while remaining awake and responsive.
The effects wear off quickly once the mask is removed, allowing you to resume normal activities soon after your appointment.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation involves a prescription medication taken before your appointment. Depending on the dosage, you may experience light to moderate sedation.
You will remain awake but feel very relaxed and less aware of the procedure. Oral sedation is often recommended for patients with moderate anxiety or for longer treatments.

When Is Sedation Dentistry Necessary?
Sedation dentistry may be recommended if you:
- Experience dental anxiety or phobia
- Have a strong gag reflex
- Need complex or lengthy procedures
- Have difficulty sitting comfortably for extended periods
- Have delayed treatment due to fear
Avoiding dental care can lead to tooth pain, infection, bone loss, and even systemic concerns such as heart disease and diabetes. Sedation allows you to address these issues before they progress further.
Benefits of Sedation Dentistry
- Reduces fear and anxiety
- Promotes a relaxed, positive experience
- Makes longer procedures feel shorter
